The Nightdesk with The Captain ran overnights on Rock100WDIZ from 1993 to 1994 and was Arbitron rated number 3 overnights summer of 1994. (up from 13th the year prior)

"The Capn' was actually hired to produce the Ron & Ron Show that was being sent in from Tampa’s 95YNF. That work very well for Chris, since he was a former afternoon and morning announcer at WWKO Rhythm 86AM in Cocoa prior to coming to Rock 100. A little known DIZ History note - "Capn" was the one who talked Ron Diaz and Ron Bennington into have Denise Moore (Who had posed for the 2 Live Crew LP a few years back) to box Billy The Phone Freak at the "Live Gig" here in Orlando in 1992. An estimated 5,000 people packed a club on International Drive at 6 in the morning for this "Las Vegas" style event.
